About Us

The Imigra Foundation

It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 2022 and recognized by the Department of Justice (DOJ) under 8 CFR § 1292.2, which allows nonprofit organizations to offer immigration services through authorized representatives.

Our commitment goes beyond legal assistance: we seek to expand access to immigration services, actively participate in the formulation of public policies, and strengthen community organization. We serve immigrants of various nationalities, with an emphasis on low-income individuals from Brazil, South America, and Central America.

Guided by the principles of transparency, ethics, and social responsibility, we ensure that our services are provided with honesty, clarity, and absolute respect for the rights of our clients.

As a socially responsible organization, we align our initiatives with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to the 2030 Agenda by reducing inequalities, promoting social justice, gender equality, and ensuring access to fundamental rights. Furthermore, we are, to date, the only non-profit organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice to offer specialized services in the EB-3 process.

Our Mission

The Imigra Foundation’s mission is to support low-income immigrants in their full integration into American society. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, recognized and accredited by the U.S. Department of Justice, our priority is to welcome, guide, and empower immigrant communities, promoting their social, economic, and cultural inclusion.

Our commitment includes expanding access to essential legal services, social assistance, education, civic participation, and advocacy. We work continuously to inform, protect, and strengthen the rights of immigrants, seeking to reduce inequalities and promote social justice.

We are, to date, the only non-profit organization recognized by the DOJ specializing in EB-3 processes, an important distinction that expands opportunities for permanent residency for foreign workers seeking better living conditions.

We also actively advocate for changes in laws, regulations, and legal practices, aiming for greater equity in the immigration system. Our goal is to make immigration services accessible and reliable, with fair fees and flexible payment plans, always guided by principles of transparency, ethics, and social responsibility.

We align our mission with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to the construction of a more just, inclusive and supportive society, in accordance with the 2030 Agenda.

FOUNDER/CEO

Kelly Fontoura, accredited by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Kelly Fontoura holds a degree in Liberal Arts and has nearly two decades of experience in immigration, specializing in Green Card processes through employment, particularly EB-3. She has worked directly on thousands of cases, building a reputation for competence, professionalism, and deep technical knowledge.

Like many of her clients, Kelly also obtained legal status in the U.S. through the EB-3 process in the professional category, which reinforces her practical understanding and empathy for the immigrant journey. Her dedication to the community, especially the Brazilian community, inspired the creation of the Imigra Foundation, which offers guidance, information, and legal assistance to support the integration of newly arrived immigrants.

For Kelly, successful integration strengthens the economy and promotes social and cultural inclusion — principles that are cornerstones of the Imigra Foundation’s work.
